Walls of the Kasbah des Oudaias
Rising out on the bluff overlooking the Atlantic ocean and the estuary, Kasbah des Oudais dominates. The main entry gate Bab Oudaia, built in 1195 is to the right of the picture and leads into winding streets of houses built by the Muslim exiles from Al-Andalus who settled here and revived Rabat’s fortunes.
