City Hall
Copenhagen’s grand red-brick city hall, Radhus, dominates the square. Flanked on one side by Tivoli Gardens and hotels and American imports of fast-food chains on the others, it still is a delight to be there in the early morning ahead of the crowds. Inside Radhus every surface is covered with carvings or decorative relief proudly recounting Danish history and/or fables of Hans Christian Anderson.
