Karen Blixen Museum
This is the home of Karen Blixen a.k.a. Isak Dinesen who wrote Out of Africa which remains unchanged from when she lived in it upon her return from her seventeen year stay Africa in the late 1930s. She was a university trained artist as well as an accomplished writer and her artist’s eye is evident throughout the house and extensive gardens.
